Featured Speaker

ATTORNEY MICHAEL J. AMTHOR

With more than 30 years of legal experience, Michael Amthor brings seasoned judgment, practical insight, and a personal approach to estate planning, probate, and trust administration. He helps individuals and families protect what they’ve built, plan confidently for the future, and create estate plans that reflect both their assets and the people who matter most.

Michael’s extensive background in family law and mediation gives him a unique perspective on estate planning. He understands how family dynamics, changing circumstances, and competing expectations can create challenges—and uses that experience to anticipate potential conflicts and build greater clarity into each plan.

From living trusts, wills, and powers of attorney to probate and trust administration, Michael guides clients through complex decisions with care and straightforward advice. His philosophy is simple: an effective estate plan should account for the family as carefully as it accounts for the assets.

Deeply committed to his community, Michael is active with Rotary International, volunteers with Meals on Wheels, and has contributed his legal experience to court settlement conferences. He and his firm have also received “Best of Brentwood” honors for many years.

Outside the office, Michael enjoys boating, four-wheeling, and spending time with his wife of more than 36 years and their two adult children.
